More Things (disjointed)

• This is my last week at work (for this company). Odd slightly nervous sensation - I have this nagging feeling I've forgotten to sort out something important and I'll be stuck without any job at all, or that they'll somehow manage to hang on to me and I'll be here forever.


• Didn't get enough sleep last night, what with the weather (rather warm, very rainy) and thinking about houses and jobs.


• Forgot to mention that I also made two pairs of earrings and the start of a necklace at the weekend. It's ages since I made anything, so I'm quite pleased with that. Now I just have to remember to keep going.


• Two roses are out next to the front door. It was so warm and humid this morning that the front garden felt like a rose-scented bath.


• I decided to treat myself to lunch at a little Thai restaurant I've been meaning to investigate. Wish I hadn't - the pad thai was far from great and now I'm too full, besides feeling like I've just eaten about a pound of salt.


• Another house tonight.
