Finding, just as you're about to leave the house, that the cat is once again suffering from very smelly digestive trouble, necessitating a thorough cleaning of (a)the floor and (b)the cat, which will make you half an hour late for work. While you're suffering from sciatica (ow).

Date: 2009-01-26 02:38 pm (UTC)My nearest experience to that was a weekend when my husband and I both had flu and both dogs had foul, messy digestive trouble that necessitated baths every hour until we could finally get them seen by the vet on Monday. No one was happy that weekend.

Date: 2009-01-26 02:59 pm (UTC)My cat is long-haired, which makes it all much more difficult, although she's now getting used to being pinned down and cleaned. She objects, but not by trying to escape at all costs, thankfully.

Date: 2009-01-27 09:22 am (UTC)A friend of the family used to keep King Charleses when I was growing up. They were very friendly little things, if somewhat comical. They were black and tans, with great eyebrows.
